Recruitment

Dear Potential New Member,
The ladies of Alpha Delta Pi welcome you to TCU!! College is exciting and fun, and sometimes overwhelming; but I have found being a part of Alpha Delta Pi made my transition into college life easy and fun! In ADPi, I found an amazing home away from home, and sisters that I will keep for the rest of my life! I love being in a sorority, but when I first came to TCU and went through recruitment, I was incredibly confused and overwhelmed by the whole recruitment process, but as the days went by, and I kept coming back to the Alpha Delta Pi house, I got to know some of the girls I was lucky enough to talk with. The girls were genuine and were just in love with Alpha Delta Pi! I felt like I had found a place where I could belong, and I was right! I love Alpha Delta Pi, and want to share with you some of the special things that will be waiting for you when you become one of my sisters!
¨You will find your Diamond Sister to help you transition into college life and sorority life, and to introduce you to everything ADPi! ¨At our first function of the year with our newest sisters – BID DAY, you get to meet all of your new sisters, and take super-cute pictures to send home to Mom and Dad, and of course to post on Facebook! ¨We go to TONS of events together, like football games and tailgates, parties and mixers, and intramural games and work out classes. ¨We also have a New Member Retreat where you can really get to know your pledge sisters, as well as fun sisterhood outings for you to get to know all the rest of your new Alpha Delta Pi sisters - like 80's roller skating!! ¨Alpha Delta Pi has an academic support program and sorority tutors to help with the transition to a college work load. (My sister tutored me in calculus on Tuesdays, and I'd always end up hanging out afterwards to watch movies or funny videos) ¨We have an awesome Philanthropy calendar with endless opportunities to get involved! ¨We have Mom's weekend, and Dad's weekend where your parents can meet all of your new sisters! (This year, we went skeet shooting for Dad's weekend! And held a luncheon with our Moms!) ¨We have an awesome house and chapter room where you can relax, study, play Wii or just hang out. ¨
Sorority life opens the door to new college experiences, and offers a family to be your support system during the good times and the bad. I've found my best friends who are always up for midnight Wall-Mart runs, late-night study sessions, mattress surfing in the house, road trips to Austin with music blasting and windows down, and so much more! I hope you are excited about going through recruitment; it is such a blast! I can't wait to meet y'all!
