The ADPi Family

Diamond Sisters are our version of  "Big and Little Sisters".  A Diamond sister helps guide the "Alpha" through the process leading up to Initiation and becoming a Delta member.  Many sisters find that their Diamond Sister becomes one of their closest friends in the chapter.

A chain of Diamond Sisters is what we refer to as an "ADPi Family."  Entire families will get together for dinner to celebrate different occasions, participate in initiation festivities, and serve as a larger group to help guide our sisters through the different stages of membership.

Family Time!  We also love to share our ADPi experience with our "real" families.  During football season, TCU Family Weekend always has festivities to share with our families.  This past year we had lunch and a tailgate party with our parents and siblings then sat together to cheer on the TCU Horned Frogs!

Dads' Weekend also came during football season with dinner, a trip to the historic stockyards including a Texas size barbeque dinner, a live rodeo and just good times hanging out in Fort Worth with our dads.

Moms' Weekend is held every spring the same weekend as Founder's Day so we can share the history and meaning of ADPi with our moms.  We have a special ceremony and pin for our ADPi moms, too.  And of course we leave plenty of time for mom to take us shopping for clothes, groceries, and some home cooking (or out to dinner)!
